Help topics

Getting started

Open the library, pick a game, and either sit at a table with people or play the bots on your own device. Nothing to install.

Accounts & sign-in

Play the bots with no account at all. To sit with other people, keep a record or save house rules you need one: an email and a password, or Google. Two-factor is available and admins must have it.

Hosting a game

Hosting walks you in: pick where the table stands and how it is dressed, settle the house rules, then open the lobby and share the code. Rules come before the lobby on purpose — they get settled on the way in instead of argued over at hand three.

Joining a game

A four-letter code, an invite link from a friend, or the lobby list for open tables. In a venue, scan the QR code on the screen.

Dominoes rules

Dominican partner dominoes: 28 fichas, four chairs, two teams across from each other, seven fichas each, no boneyard. The first hand opens on the double six; after that the last winner leads. “How to play” inside the game shows it at the table.

Controls

Tap or click a ficha to pick it up, and a free end to lay it. Turn one round before you play it, tilt it to read it, knock when you cannot go. On a phone everything is a tap; on a desktop everything is a click.

Camera

Your camera is off until you switch it on, and it is tied to the table you joined — it does not follow you out of it. You can turn off anybody else’s video for yourself from the people list.

Voice & table talk

Microphone works the same way as the camera: off until you say so, tied to that table. Table talk is there when you cannot speak — it opens with a tap anywhere on its bar.

Playing on a phone

The whole table is built for the phone already in your hand, with nothing extra to install. More launch access is on the way.

Customizing your table

Where the table stands, the table top, the ficha backs and what sits at your own seat are chosen on the way into hosting — they belong to that table, not to you, so everyone sitting there plays on them.

All Access & billing

All Access and First Seat are bought in the game and billed by Stripe. Change a card, switch plans or cancel from your billing page. No price has been set yet and nothing is being charged.

Venue mode

A screen in a venue shows a lobby and a QR code; phones scan it and play; the screen shows the table. The screen never holds a chair, so no hand is ever on it. Staff set venues up and pair the screens.

Troubleshooting

If a table will not load, reload the page — games live on the server, so your chair is still there. If camera or voice will not connect, check that permissions are turned on. If it is still wrong, tell us what you saw and we will look.

Still stuck?

Tell us what you did, what you expected and what happened instead. That is genuinely all we need, and it gets answered faster than anything else.
